Implemented Banned item

i would request a few admins or a director sit down for each modpacl and go thru all items, get all the items that needs to be banned banned and added to /banneditems
Or provide a full refund and not only a partical refund for staff not doing their job properly.

i don't like to have used a lot of time on gathering materials, doing quests to get a item just to be told
"A staff was necesarry to remove the item from your base, as is it not allowed to use items which altar the time of the day. Sorry for the inconvinience, but I would recommed taking an extra look at the rules "

First of all it does not say anywhere in the rules that time altering machines / things are banned, and then i only get a partical refund for actually helping / doing what the staff should have done long ago. its like saying "oh thanks for helping us, but you gotta pay for it. it makes me feel like why should i help at all for only being punished for it?

So either get the banned items banned and added to the banlist or provide a full refund on items that are suppost to be banned but ain't or items that are banned but not added to the list due to staff errors

Since end game items can be hard to get the required materials for just to have it removed due to staff errors

it wasn't necessarily a staff issue though, generally stuff like that torch (i do not remember what its called) that speeds up time is also banned, so generally if its really super expensive and you've seen similar items banned on the network, i would ask before making it, especially if it is not on the banned items list, better to waste a small amount of staff's time, which they are using to help us anyway, than waste a huge amount of yours for no aforementioned reason

 

Problem is if you ask then your being told to check banlist with /banneditems. and then when its not there and you craft it and its suppost to be banned you get punished....

 

that is a loop hole, and i did not realise you where talking about staff unintentionally misleading you to check the list and it turns out it was supposed to be there, and the thing you said about being punished, first of all, just a game, we play for enjoyment, second of all, staff cannot refund your time which is the most valuable thing you spent on it, but look on the bright side, you may have suffered a small (or large depending on how you look at it) amount, but now its listed and others wont go through the same hassle as you

block got banned and was removed automatical by plugin, so it is banned but never got added to banlist. half way job done.

If, you see, on the banlist, items that do x, but your item isn't that item, and your item does x, it's banned, no questions, staff just don't have time to go through EVERY banned item and list it, because you know, their fixing tps issues and the like?

 

you rephrased my reply to be easier and more simple to read, this disgusts me [DOUBLEPOST=1444904747][/DOUBLEPOST]but yes thats what were on about in a nutshell, i think this is a "resolved" post, (just realised we're actually in feedback not support ) lesson, be more vigilant, you play on their servers, play by their rules, even if it is not specifically mentioned anywhere for you to follow... wait thats not right... ah! lesson, staff are not machines with time to throw out the window like some people think, however they should instead of adding the item, put the functionality on the list E.g. - stuff that speeds up / alters time in a certain / any area-

Let's not play innocent. You were charging people to change the weather. Time/Weather changing devices on most servers are banned to prevent abuse. Every update we have to go in and re-disable them and sometimes it gets missed. I'm sorry if you feel wronged, but every time staff tries to help the server we get a forum post complaining. And if we aren't addressing something then a forum post saying we are doing nothing. I'm aware that not everyone will agree on everything, but this behavior is putting everyone in a no win situation.

Let's work together and realize we are all human here and can only do our best. =)
