Best way to find hungry node's

I'v been exploring for hours apon hours and hours in the overworld deep dark and im yet to see a hungry node anyone have a tip or trick to find one?

same here bob they are quite hard to come across also the fact that some players destroy then :/
wish there was a way to create then well we can all dream

 

Yea, quite rare. Rarity depends on modpack aswell (you can change the ratio of special nodes in the thaumcraft cfg) took me almost 2days to find one.



Feeding it already

 

The most easy way is to ask in chat if somebody saw one. From time to time people come across a hungry node and want it removed (mostly new players that don't have a use for it yet or want to build a base close to it).
Just remove it for them.

But always ask if they want to keep it (most of the time they don't)
