Better Bat Spawning in PO Lite

I want know what people think are the best ways to spawn bats on PO Lite, without going to the deep dark and without mob spawning in "the bat cave".

 

Build a large enough darkroom out of stone and wait

 

Did that, had a weird bug of; light in the room where there was no light source but got just enough dark to be able to spawn a bat. Thanks.

Its a thing. Its a blue-ish loot bag, iirc you get it from Artifact Loot Bags
