For some reason certain bibliocraft items (Big writing Book, clipboard) seem to have their data wiped a lot (very small periods of time between wipes, less than 5 mins).
1. Write anything in a Big Book 2. Click "Save" (not "Sign") 3. Repeat (?) (While I was trying to write something, it was disappearing after I opened the book the 2nd time, but it might have just been an accident) 4. Change active hotbar slot/walk/open inventory/wait (not sure what exactly causes the glitch) 1. Write something/check a box in a clipboard 2. Exit the window 2a. Place the clipboard on a wall and pick it back up (confirmed to wipe data) 2b. change active hotbar slot/move the clipboard off the hotbar/walk/wait (one of these should work)
I noticed this happens to, but I usually fix this by making the changes in the bibliocraft table. Not sure why it clears it. But using the clipboard for example to make changes must be done in the bibliocraft table. The one that you can place the item in it and edit it.
This table is called a desk. Documentation: Desk | BiblioCraft I think possible causes might include: 1. Cauldron making saves on the hard disc impossible 2. Name conflict 3. Code bomb (very unlikely)
I noticed this on B-Team as well when a player asked me about it. It seemed to clear everything every time I closed and opened the clipboard, though as Aido suggested, using the desk fixed this problem. Since Aido suggested a roundabout way to fix this issue, I will go ahead and close this thread. -Tipsied
