Might be disabled so you have to grow them? Never played ag1 but sounds like something jaded would do
Sorry, I'm a bit late! Ag1 does not have botania. AG+ Does. Keep trying, because of growth craft, there are like 100 other possibilities you can get when you bonemeal grass. I suggest you don't bother with Botania until you have an invar sickle and an auto activator. Set it up to use the sickle on some grass and just bonemeal when the AA uses the sickle on whatever you grew. If set up right you should be able to click pretty fast (like 2 times a second) (now that I read your post again, with two people it should be easy to do it as soon as you get a sickle. one bone meals the grass the other breaks it.) Another option is to set up a Sprinkler on a big grass platform and it will slowly cause a bone meal effect around itself. (Aquarius accumulator under a sprinkler will keep the sprinkler fed infinitely and free, besides needing one 1 for each sprinkler you want)
