Currently, bonemealing grass is required to begin with both Ars Magica and Botania. Unfortunately, with the addition of Pam's Harvestcraft, the process of obtaining the flowers from these mods generally needs massive amounts of storage space. I therefore suggest that the spawn rate of tall grass from bonemealing grass blocks is reduced slightly, in order to lessen the amount of storage required.

Is there any possibility of adding crafting recipes for these plants, for example dye in the colour of the flower, surrounded by Bone Meal for Botania, an Arcane Ash surrounded by Vinteum Dust for Blue Orchids and a Vinteum Dust surrounded by Arcane Ash for Tarma Roots?
I think that there should be no recipes, but the chance of getting AM2 and Botania plants should be increased. A lot of tarma roots can be found in the dimension "The Moo Moo Farm". I also think orchids occasionally spawn there. Sent using Tapatalk on IPhone
