Hey there, peeps. Some of you may know me, especially the staff (Cause I am one massive ticket dispenser and liability.) I didn't have any particular reason to make this post, but in the recent months I've kinda stopped playing minecraft. I've only been on to keep my claims from resetting, or to act as a teacher for my friend who likes the game (she's great, she didn't know how to make a bucket when we started). I've just not found myself in the mood to go to a server, start from scratch, or continue from where I've left off. I've lost my mojo for this game, but I'll probably keep getting on to save my claims like I have been and eventually "come back". Which leads me to the reasoning for why I made this post. How many of you feel and do the same?
I was having the same "issue" for quite a while, but then started playing on a Minecraft server (name od which I cannot mention for obvious reasons) which I discovered somewhere around a year before, but never played there unthil that point. I returned to MyM somewhere around 3 days ago and now I'm playing on Project Ozone 2 kappa mode. Sorry if my grammar is bad, my native language is very different from english.
Sometime the best way to get back into a game is to drop it for a bit. I too have experienced this many times with Minecraft. Just stop playing for a bit, pick up other games, try out some free games (what I have been doing lately).
Yeah, this happens to me too. Although not technically bored of minecraft but the modpack itself. This happens usually when finishing the automation stage, and going near the end game of the modpack. I usually put a building session in between these to makeup the boredom but sometimes they aren't enough either
yeah I had it happen to me too, stopped minecraft for over 2 weeks before coming back on mym. RIP my house on infinity tho xD
Before I played PO2, I took a few weeks hiatus. Was gone about 2 months cause I got bored. Then I beat PO2 and then Beyond came out, then finished that and luckily FS came out.
This is why I switched over to Beyond a few weeks back. I like the massive packs 'cause there is so much in them, but I just needed to start over with a new build. New mods to fool with...new things to do.
if u want to play a different game, look at the genres you like not just in gaming, but IRL. Find new games like that. Play them. If you lose interest in a game, find one that suits your interests.
i do have kinda the same issue as most people (getting bored) mine is more of a personal health issue...which causes me to get bored of things relatively quick if im not enjoying what im doing. Hence why i haven't been on a lot recently...not because the server is boring, cause i love most the staff (ones ive met, or had interactions with) and the community is amazing, but the thing i have issue with most is that either everything becomes repetitive (example: new mod pack....gather most resources, build power, build basic automation.) now u can do that on every server modpack that ive been on. i cant stand repeating the same things over and over because to me its mundane and repetitive.
