If you have 9 sheep essence and try craft a wool with that will not work. first the item is unstackable, and if you try make one you can, if you try make 2 and try put on the same slot the last, it will desapear.
It does indeed create a non stacking piece of wool, if you try and shift click it will not go into your inv. and if you drag it to your inv. and try and stack them it vanishes and leaves only one there. That one piece is also not able to be placed as it vanishes if you try.
