Implemented Can we please fix mob limit on vanilla?

    Can we please fix the mob limit on Vanilla? I know there used to be a squid problem, but since the attempting to just fix squid all mobs have been effected and makes mob spawners waste of time to make. So could all the mobs be raised by 100 or remove the cap on all of them beside squids? Please.

    I agree, my initial post was directed towards the squids. But Vanilla replies on High spawn rates of other mobs.
    While the current cap is 30.... the speed in which spawners spawn mobs is extremely low.

    I would suggest the cap be lifted.... completely. and if more issue arise, we deal with it then

    Question...

    Is it possible to set the limit to 30 of EACH TYPE of mod? this would mean I could have 30 chickens, AND 30 cows....

    (Mainly for people who would like to makes some epic mob farms.... Passive mobs could be set to a different number the non-passive if needed.

    Increased to 80 with the next restart, let me know if this is enough

    Not sure that fixed anything. My mob dropper not even spawning any mobs really.

    How far do we load?
    Meaning at what distance do chunks become unloaded?
    At may "build" area, im about 3 chunks away and my crops and trees dont grow

    I hope the just remove it.
    Completely. Im sorry i reported the squid problem now.....lol
    Vanilla minecraft already has a world limit of mobs. That should be enough restriction for this pack

    @SirWill can you just disable the ristrictions please. Lets see if the server can handle it.

    You are using a egg there. Tp to me and I can show you that they are not spawning in a drop spawner that is 2x2 chunks big. Mcmmo will not level up using spawners, it only levels if they naturally spawn.

    And kry could be talking about drop spawners if they are loaded or not. It would be really annoying if we have to sit on the spawner to even get any mobs.

    Yes I use a egg, and the egg gets blocked too after the limit is reached.

    Was the mob spawning issue already there before we added an limit?

    Will be disabled with the next restart. Let me know if it changes something (Squids will spawn again too)

    If the player only loads the chunk they are in or 1 chunk near.

    There would be no Ticks in the 3rd chunk or further... meanin no mobs would spawn in those chunks.
    So if he made a farm, and was outside the load limit... nothing would spawn.
    Giving him the impression the the spawn limits were the issue.

    I was literally on top of the spawning area. (inside the same chunk) Still they were not spawning.
