Firstly I want to say that I totally understand that MyM is a child-friendly environment, but a concurrent issue I see on MyM is the very restrictive chat filtering system, which limits players from saying some words which are either not offensive, or are bound to commands. The two words which stand out to me most would be "noob" and "lag". The word noob is censored, which I can understand, however, it's not offensive unless used in a specific context. Noob is a word that can be simply used to describe a new player. There are already rules in place to stop players from being aggressive, rude, and disrespectful to each other, so I think having this word banned isn't necessary. "Lag" is another word that is bound to a command which shows (if I remember off the top of my head) the ping and TPS (maybe?). I would much rather have this command as /lag so players can talk about making machines "lag friendly" or "lag efficient" in chat. I'd love to see the chat filter be revised and improved upon to remove some of the issues which I stated above. Edit: Apparently Noob and Lag are unbanned on newer modpacks, so maybe it's only on B-Team.
