Hi, I have a chicken farm in my base. Sometimes I catch chicken using net from hatchery to a platform to breed them, but those chickens disappear When I click ground when they are in net. They suppose to show up in the ground. Is this a bug or my ignorance of anything?
This is normally the result of having too many mobs in the chunk, or surrounding chunks and hitting the mob cap. Try moving a few chunks away from other passive and aggressive mobs and trying again. It's also important to note seemingly normal chickens from Zombie jockeys will despawn as part of vanilla mechanics.
