Hi, I've recently started playing on the Infinity Normal Node 4 server. My experience with servers is limited and I have no previous experience with the market (my previous server didn't have one). When I started out at the Spawn I saw someone selling ender pearls for 10 gold and since I had 10 gold I wanted to buy one (I always find it hard to get ender pearls). There were 16 in a stack and when I tried to pick up just one, I got all 16. I put them all back thinking I wanted to find out how the market works properly before buying anything. I lost my 10 gold doing this but didn't think it was a big deal. Moments later I received an email from the market with the 16 ender pearls. Thinking that I had somehow reserved the ender pearls or something I didn't touch them thinking I would try to save up 160 gold so I could pay for them first. Today when I logged on, I received a new mail, again with the 16 ender pearls. I picked them up, thinking I would take just the one I presumed I had payed for (having lost my 10 gold already), but I couldn't put the remaining 15 back and they are now in my inventory. If I have your ender pearls (I'm not sure who I bought them from) I sincerely apologize and would like to return them all (you can keep my 10 gold if you got it). I couldn't figure out how the market worked and I didn't mean to do anything wrong and would like help to return them and make up for it. Any help is appreciated!
As Ben85 mentioned, you didn't do anything wrong. Minecraft has a stacking system for items and it usually goes as 64 or 16 items that can stack. Most blocks like dirt, cobble, etc. stack up to 64 but something like ender pearls, eggs, snow balls only stack up to 16 items per. In turn, you've got nothing to worry about. However, I'm really glad that you have decided to go ahead and ask around about your issue It's a good habit to get into. Since I think this issue is solved, I'll go ahead and mark this as done. So it was 16 pearls for 10 gold? Anyway, thanks for the quick reply and I'm glad I didn't do anything wrong so glad that's cleared up
