Done crash when using arcane/essentia terminal

hi,

everytime i try to use one of the Thaum AE2 Terminals, or other Devices like molecular assembler/knowledge inscriber my client either crashs or disconnects.

other players have the same problem, so it seems to be serverside (maybe the microblock fix from the past days)

Lol could you inform us? I have been getting frustrated because I use it daily and it crashes every time i craft something out of it. Also! Its not just the arcane terminal its essentially all of them (even though i have not crashed from the essentia terminal) I personally think its because it does not want me to access or deposit from the terminal so i just use a wireless controller to access most of the time and use the corrosponding crafting table to work around it to avoid crashes.

This appears to be a bug with the thaumic energistics mod itself.

let's me wonder how the FTB Team decides to mark some version as "recommended" if it just breaks stuff ;(

Realise this thread is marked as done but also getting the same problem, cant use the ME thaumcraft terminals without the game completely freezing up and crashing and not just a back to load screen crash a complete game burnout crash. my crash log looks very similar to Ben85's above.
Recently reported a problem where the thaumcraft ME terminals wouldn't place the bug was fixed and able to place the terminal but im curious if the two bugs are linked mabey? or is it simply a bug with thaumic energistics itself?

to avoid these questions

 

kk firstly plasmanoodle don't be a smart behind. if you read the posts you'll find I actually started by saying I knew the post was closed, I was well aware of previous posts, I wasn't re-asking the same question, I was asking if it was related to the previous bug I had reported or if it was indeed the case of the above point that is just an error with thaumic energistics as this may have not been considered.

And similar to above posts, I do not use view cells, there are none of them present anywhere on my network yet I still crash.

 

There's no need to use such language towards another player. Please remember that language rules extend to our forums as well.

As to the issue at hand, I highly suggest to create your own support thread. Not only because this one is marked as done or what-have-you. But, because as you stated yourself, this is a similar problem with some differences. The worst case about creating a new support thread is that you'll be linked to a previous thread that has a solution.

Okay, just now looked back on forums going to try this also and see if it works. If it does Thanks for your info

 

Actually yhea, updating to java 8 would fix this problem, as getOrDefault is a method in java 8 but NOT java 7
