    Hey guys,

yes it's me again, the guy causing weird problems on M+ ;)

Today I crashed the server (4 times in total), of course it wasn't my intention to do so but at least I found out that it was me who caused the crashes.

My EnderIO power bank has a size of 1261 blocks which translates to 630,500,000 MJ or 56,744,990,720 RF.
I know the power bank is capable of much more power as caithleen's is roughly 20 times bigger than mine.

However, I extend my power storage by using a filler (yes, I am that lazy) and the blocks are the roof of my underground base (look at the thread linked above to get coords).
Whenever my AE system recognizes more than X electrical steel it will craft a power bank block, export it into the filler and keep building my energy storage. It worked fine yesterday for the whole day where I was able to extend my energy storage from ~14 billion RF to the ~57 billion listed above.

    Crash 1:
Today I logged on and as soon as the next power bank block got crafted and added to the "field" by my filler the server crashed.

    Crash 2:
At first I did not notice that it was me but then I deactivated the filler as I needed the steel for something else. When I activated it again the server crashed again.

    Crash 3:
I noticed it may have something to do with my power bank so I logged in again and disabled the filler completely. After that I noticed 3 power bank blocks that did not "connect" to the rest of the blocks, each keeping 500k MJ on its own instead of extending the huge block bank right next to them. I remove the blocks and placed one of them manually to extend the power bank again... Crash number 3.

    Crash 4:
As I said, I do know that the power bank is capable of way bigger energy storages. The only difference between caithleen's and mine is, mine is a flat plate of blocks (the inner roof of my base) and caithleen's is more of a "pillar" shaped collection of blocks.
So I tried to extend the bank by adding a block below my "plate" => Crash #4.

That's it. I will not touch my power bank again until some admin tells me to do so and it is save.

But please investigate what may lead to this crash as I need to have a bigger power bank to continue my work. Otherwise my playtime on M+ may have come to an end...

    Regards,

    Larnorak

Try pressing F9 twice, this will show you the chunk borders. Maybe the system cracks if it extends over too many chunks.

That may have been the case. The blocks I mentioned that did not connect to the bank were the last blocks in one chunk and so it may have caused the crashes when I tried to extend it into the next chunk.

I now started to built a second power bank in a different place of my base, so I will just split the power banks as soon as I reach its limits.

    Thanks!

Xfel allready answered it, but FYI it is always good to keep all multiblocks within one chunk and over multiple..
