I have tried to get it unbanned one or two times, but I was pretty much ignored. It is banned because if you put a watch of flowing time (also disabled and also very very useful) in the pedestal, it will speed up the tick speed of nearby blocks in a small radius. It is very helpful for making machines run faster but the problem comes when people use a ton of them in the same area and they lag the server. The funny thing is they weren't even originally banned for time manipulation
Soo Why not just ban the watch of flowing time, And let the pedestal soo you can use the growth ring on it and Isnt the watch of flowing time like the sprinklers, too much is bad soo why not make a thread for that aswell like for sprinklers
Bases on how other suggestions about unbanning items get ignored, I guess that there might be a hidden "no item unban" policy in place. Spoiler
I may be a bit biased since back when the watch was still half enabled it was by far my favorite item, but it didn't really hurt the server that much and it was so useful I knew the player who got the pedistals with the watches banned, and that took over a hundred of them stacked up in a huge tower of power flowers (which also cause server lag issues)

So while you are here, wyndman would there be any obvious problem with unbanning the pedistal and just leaving the watch banned, or making it so you just can't use the watch in it (like is so with the volcanic and evertide amulets)?
