I've been looking at some of the numbers for DJ creative recipes You need approx 900k netherite to craft the neutron collector alone. I gathered approx 2.5k netherite ore by quarrying 256 chunks of the nether Similar issue with Bloodgems Whilst this is possible to achieve, I feel that engame players quarrying the entirety of the nether will ony be a detriment to those in earlier stages. Is it possible to create an alternative recipe using manyullyn essence (similar rarity/nether ore)? Possibly redstone ingot surrounded by essence for netherite ingot, diamond surrounded by essence for bloodgem, but open to better suggestions
Its the style of the pack, its on the hardcore mode if it was set to the easy mode it'd be alot easier
There is a difference in hardcore and if you do the math there and expect us to mine 92000 chunks of the nether each player , and 6 or 8 of us in endgame there will be no nether for new players to enjoy ..... most of it is dirt right now. And this is just for 1 item needed. Or other option maybe make the nether reset weekly like the end ?
Not unless we have somewhere else to put our wither farms XD I was just looking into this. There's alternate sources of these items from mobs (The Watcher and Cyclops). I'm wondering if it would be feasible to farm them instead of quarry. [doublepost=1540176441,1540174393][/doublepost]Apparently, there's already recipes in the game for bloodgem block and netherite block (Blood magic alchemic chemistry set). EDIT: Cyclops is not viable for bloodgems - about as rare as mob soul even with looting III. Looks like Alchemic Chemisty Set for these shiny bois. Good news is we only need like 300k of them.
From my time on DJ, I worked around this without farming in the nether at all. Summon one of the bosses, The Watcher, but each time you kill it, it drops close to 100 nethercite. Use a soul vial, and keeping it in a powered spawner and using the Draconic grinder kept me at a perfect amount - by the time I needed to 'cash in' and craft with all the other components, I would have enough.
as already mentioned above: Netherite is best sourced from The Watcher as a mob drop Blood Gems are best duplicated using blood magic (bloodgem block)
