so i heard that if your going to be gone longer then 2 weeks then you can post a notice so your base wont get wiped well i changed my name because i lost a bet so i wont be joining for a month to prevent stuff from getting out of place ( i heard bad stuff happens when you change your name in game and join) let me know about this k thanks
You can run /absence in-game to extend this to 30 days. It will tell you in-game when it expires. Nothing bad really happens when you change your name. Most things on Minecraft 1.7 are UUID based and not name based.
