To clarify, you need to ask for a region transfer, give the coordinates of your base on the old map and it can be copied over to the new one, the new map uses the exact same seed as the old one so all the terrain is the same just without all the old buildings so that there aren't loads of old claims from people who have left the server as only the active players will have asked for their build to be copied over.
Hum... But whats for rotarycraft and reactor craft buildings ? And for research like thaumcraft, arc magica ... ?
All your Thaumcraft and Ars research should have carried across automatically as they are stored in your player.dat which is separate to the map itself, and Rotarycraft will copy across fine with the rest of your base however since Reactorcraft was removed as it is too unstable, any Reactorcraft setup you have will have already been deleted when the mod was removed.
So can we have a backup of our installation before reactorcraft was remove ? We've spend tone of hours on it, so we are a bit bored
Ok, so i downloaded the new modpack, probleme, a part of our structures is on new map, the rest is on old map oO Is thats normal ? Our reactorCraft platform is cut in the 2 worlds :s
It's likely that someone who lived nearby already requested a region transfer for the region that their base was in and your base just happened to be on the edge of the region border, if you give us the coordinates like we asked however, it should be possible for us to find a backup copy of both regions from before the update, so the base will still be fully intact.

Exact coordinates to these platform would be helpful. I'm quite sure sirwilli did copy the version from before the mod upgrade so there is nothing newer or so. Btw. please decide between world transfer and region backup. I don't see a reason for both and both is holding us back from issues that affect entire servers. I hope you understand.
And we would like a backup of this, to continuing it localy, And you can transfert the rest if you can. PS: In your backup their is only sea from this area.
