hmm, can you use turtle? Or an autonomous activater OR a killer joe OR many other items? I haven't really played much of Draconic evolution... but from what i have seen, it seems like Dartcraft for 1.7, And what i mean by that is, All the items from that mod are stronger then every other item from other mods that do the same thing. I think it was the People from Thermal Expansion, KingLemming who talked about mods making machines that made other mods machines obsolete by making the do 3x-8x processing...... As a mechanic, it'd be a tossup between Ore Doubling and free Solar/Wind energy. I'd probably have to go with Ore Doubling, though the real issue isn't the presence of Ore Doubling, but the arms race that some mods are attempting to perpetuate. TE will be sitting that one out. Sorry that our Pulverizer won't go up to 13x.
Autonomous activator for some reason refuses to hit certain mobs. I had problems with it not wanting to hit iron golems. Heard someone else had some trouble with it as well, although I don't know the whole story, so I'm not going to speak for them. I use spikes + conveyor belts for killing the iron golems, but the same setup probably works for other mobs.
Noticed the other day when I loaded up Direwolf pack that they made a fix for the MFR grinder and added a potato cannon?
