Done Dynamic Power - Bugged Quest

The quest from quest book, "Dynamic Power" doesn't recognise the item ID and therefore does not accept the Steam Dynamo, making the quest uncompletable.

Did you do Manual Detect?

 

Yes i had.

 

Did you tweak the installed upgrades in it? Try removing any upgrades and see if it works, then. Those upgrades will change the value, and it probably only detects a specific value.

 

Also please try in single player

 

Nothing to do with that just tryed now...

 

Try placing and breaking with a pick instead of a wrench.

Tryed on SinglePlayer and same error. Maybe the new update available will fix this error...

 

If always breaking it with a pickaxe is what you've done, try with a wrench.

 

I've run into this same problem just now. Since this thread is marked "done" I was wondering how you got the quest to accept the dynamo?

I've tried:

• Crafting in ME-Crafting terminal
• Crafting in vanilla Crafting table
• Removing all upgrades
• Breaking via pickaxe
• Breaking via wrench

 

The items with ore-dictionary alternatives (Copper ingot and -gear) I use the "Thermal Foundation" ones.

I've tested all the mentioned tries yesterday again just before i wrote my last reply (#13).
So: yes, it is still a problem.
Edit: since it seems like I'm the only one suffering from this bug, I opened a ticket to let a staff member mark this quest as done.
