So earlier this year (or last year can't quite remember) a post was made on the fourms stating that EMC loops are banned. In the forum post it stats that loops requiring power/item input are allowed but when staff cam on the PO2N server they told us to tear it down and that it was banned. What I'm asking here is can a new post be made that better explains what a EMC Loop is and what is and isn't allowed. Also to find the current post you have to search through the thounds of posts on the forums unless a Member of staff gives you the link. It also seems like staff have various opinions on what is and isn't allowed for a EMC Loop.
EMC Loops are explained rather in-depth in this post: Click In short, if your setup requires an input of either power (For example generators that are being used to run SAG Mills (most commonly used in blaze rod farms) or a constant input of new items to be converted into EMC (For example turning all excess items from a quarry into EMC). What is not allowed though, and will result in punishment, is if you have a setup that permits itself to run completely on itself after it is built and started. Because these are not intended by the mod author, and technically dupe the items that you want duped, they are looked at the same way as duping by the staff team. Which is why they under no circumstances should be used. In other words; A setup that does not require any extra power or items to run = Not allowed. Hopefully this clears things up for you.
