What draws you to a new pack? Leave your answer, and an example please.
    • The version of Minecraft?
    • A specific mod or group of mods?
    • Quests?
    • Friends Playing on it?
    • Difficulty?
    • Custom recipes to make you play with all the mods?
    • Theme?

    • The version of Minecraft? -> 1.6.4 or 1.7.10
    • A specific mod or group of mods? -> Any pack without GregTech for 1.7
    • Quests?- not needed but appreciated for new pack -> I know how to progress
    • Friends Playing on it? -> <instert forever alone meme here>
    • Difficulty? -> hardcore or lower - i dont want to much struggle to craft a stick
    • Custom recipes to make you play with all the mods? -> ofc, ore dictionary is essential
    • Theme? -> Any theme but Huge NOPE for pure magic packs. I w8 for Doge theme pack
And most important thing - I have low-spec laptop so new pack can't be too huge (e.g. PO2 starts 15-20 min. for me so i dont play it, kappa)

    • 1.6+, I really don't care too much though.
    • Thermal Everything, Applied Energistics (AE2 stuff, Thaumic Energistics, ExtraCells, ECT), most technology mods. Tinkers Construct is also fun.
    • I prefer quests to get me started, but I usually break off from the questline early.
    • Usually I'm the one who invites friends.
    • Depends on the mood, sometimes I like a challenge. Other times I prefer to have casual gameplay focused on automation.
    • Custom recipes that make you need to think of new ways to automate things are great, like autonomous activators to stick something in a barrel of lava, and a vac hopper to pick it up.
    • I prefer technology, but I will dive into magic for fun tools, like thaumcraft wand foci, or the energy bazooka from blood magic.

    Version of MC
I like the idea of 1.10.2 packs but not if it means a badly made pack

    Specific mods
I am a Fan of large Multi use mods that help out in general like enderIO but as many of you know I am a big fan of projectE (but it kinda does break the game ) I love the PSI mod that is in the 1.10 DW20 pack though ;)

Oh and I loathe any mod with a voltage system
*cough cough* Industrial Craft *cough cough*
    Quests

Whenever there's a pack with quests in it I always end up using the rewards from the starter quests to help me start out then throwing away the book so I'm not much of a fan of quests personally

    friends

If I didn't have friends to play with I wouldn't play minecraft

    Dificulty

I'm more of a casual play for building cool stuff and machines

force you to play with all the mods

    Plz no...

    theme

I like the idea of magic and tech mixing (like thaumcraft or PSI)

    Final thoughts

Overall I play for fun with my friends, not for a challenge

Tekkit legends for example is kind of lacking in the way of immersive mods in my oppinion the only reason I play it at all is projectE

DW20 1.10.2 I think is a pretty good pack with enough immersive mods (like immersive engineering ;););)) to keep you interested (especially okay for a 1.10.2 pack)

    And I like ozone 2

What draws me to a new Mod Pack?
If/When I look for a new mod pack. I check to see what version it is, what the mods are, how many people have played/downloaded it, along with how often it has been updated. Oh and if there is a server for it too.

-It doesn't really matter to me, but 1.7.10, 1.8.9 and 1.6.4 are good versions.
-Personally, I like the magic and witchary mods, same with tech mods and furniture mods.
    - Depending on the modpack, I like the Quests, but if it is not needed, then no.
-Friends: It sort of depends on if they like the pack or not, but usually I'm alone.
-As said before, it depends on the modpack, just like the Quests.
-Not really, unless the ingredients to make certain items are banned.
    -Don't have one, sorry.
