I have a question and i didn't know where to post it. Anyway i was told that players are not allowed to tag user groups like @ Adminsitrator or @ Moderator So i started tagging mods or admins by there username like @ ChetwyndKid and was told thats not allowed either is this true? If so I'm sorry i misread the rules.
Doesn't work for players, i believe - Only for staff. So there's really no point to doing it. I'm guessing you were told "you're not allowed" but what was meant was "the server doesn't allow you to do this, so it does nothing"
It's on the right place. Members can't tag staff members: correct. And tag directly the staff member isn't right. You could wait for some staff, example moderators or juniors, to tag the group.
one thing is though there really shouldn't be a need to tag staff as we look at the forums a lot, and a lot of us look at every forum post so there really isn't a need to tag us
Personally I do not have anything against being tagged myself, unless it is a job any moderator could then I find it un-needed. But if it is non-staff related I am always excited ro see why I was tagged
