It's nice to know that there's a feature for updating your username, but, unfortunately for me, my avatar ended up being reset to Steve when I did so. Could there be a way to have it detect our Minecraft skin so that we can use the face from it, instead?
avatars are cached for 7 days. It probably updates within a week. Alternatively you could set it your self which would overwrite the auto avatar.
