Done Friend unable to do anything, please help

    Hello, me and my friend started a island together, and after he voted it said "Too close to protection" when he tries to break blocks. Would really like some help with this, so we don't have to restart the island as kicking him from the island would lose us the wrench and a bunch of other important early game items.
