    Hello MyM!

It's me (again) and I'm back to once again gather input on a possible PvP/Anarchy pack since the last discussion didn't result in anything and just faded away. This time I am taking a more direct approach since the discussion aspect of the last attempt ended up in lots of arguing, ideas being thrown around and ultimately no conclusion. So this time there will be no discussion, just a simple yes or no answer from you, the player. Please keep all the comments on this thread focused on specific questions (what kind of a pack, etc.) directed at the anarchy server and please avoid suggesting ideas for now (like factions, etc. that are not related to anarchy) since it will only cause confusion and bring us back to where we were with the last discussion.

Essentially it would have a similar setup to the Crackpack server that MyM hosted around this time last year. It featured:
    - Griefing Allowed
    - Raiding Allowed
    - Limited Plugins (Plugins do not affect gameplay, aka no /god, /fly, kits, claims, /tpa, /rt, etc. Included commands like /nick and other cosmetic commands)
    - Kitchen Sinkish Pack (One of the reasons UHC failed is since it was HQM and quite grindy. A kitchen sink pack like Crackpack allowed for standard gameplay that focused mainly on combat instead of grinding and progressing.)

So, would you like to play an Anarchy server?

Disclaimer: No guarantee this will actually happen. Just a poll to see how many players would be interested in server in this style.

Its hard to have anarchy on a large pack.... due to balance.

barely anyone joined lol, thats why, the two best teams raided, (mine and mael's) and the small teams raided amongs themselves often, sure, the people quit because they thought they were in a good spot but it turns out their not, and they get raided, they rage, and they leave, it's all about surprise with it

i know play shop servers with a few server owned eco spots, but modded anarchy is more about stealth instead of having gigantic faction land slots

Or perhaps a modpack that utilizes people to be vulnerable even in endgame.[DOUBLEPOST=1436225653][/DOUBLEPOST]I would like to see the trident modpack as a pvp option on mym.

this is not true, ive been on a decently successful trident server with none of this, and crackpack was quite successful for ~a month, after which those who were fairly well off started getting bored of it, and eventually it faded from existence entirely

Don't know if it's possible but you could split endgame, midgame and early game into separate worlds. Custom ore gen and mob spawns would allow for control over resources and therefore technology.

Earlygame World = No End, No Nether. Gear up to Diamondish with some basic ores (vanilla + tinkers/thermal expansion ores)

Midgame World = No End. Gear up to Flux armor with the majority of ores (Earlygame Ores + thaumcraft ores and more)

Endgame World = Everything. Full pack access. Enderpearls available along with everything else.

Mym portal to get between worlds maybe (Only 1-way to prevent advanced players from entering previous worlds? Don't know how easy/difficult it is to set that up. Will have to talk to the MyM devs.

    What this would allow:
Balanced Fighting - Players in each world are allowed to play however they want. If you want an earlygame/vanilla feel and combat system, just play on the earlygame world, no need to move on if you don't want. End game will have the 'op' armors and is full on anarchy.

Playtime Balance - The players can choose when to move on. This means that new players that join would be able to get started on their base without worry of end game players coming and wrecking them before they even know what hit them.

Possible feature like the island reset on sky block maps. Brings you back to spawn on the T1 world but clears your inv.

Then if we use the MyM portal, You would still be able to access the Higher Tier worlds.

Exactly. You always have access to the higher tier worlds and don't need to submit any items. Everyone starts off in the t1 world and would be able to use the MyM portal to get to a higher tier world, but not back

What kind of downsides?[DOUBLEPOST=1436248677,1436248476][/DOUBLEPOST]The one thing I can think of is that if you get raided and want to restart, that you lose everything, but I don't see any way around this other than not restarting, salvaging what you can from your old base and starting a new one in the higher tier dimension. Can't have players bringing salvaged items back to the t1 world.

you could also have a sign at spawn that allows you to get the 'suggested' items for you to enter the tier with for x myms, also enderchests and crossword tpa would need restriction(obtainable via villagers)

Definitely would need some tweaking to prevent item transfer and such but for now its just a general idea. If people like the idea then we can delve into it further.

I would skip this curent idea going about multiple worlds and make things much simpler. I do like where you guys are going with the idea though.
My solution would be to: Ban all storage mods, placing endgame and midgame items in other world aka. build only in owerworld. With the exception of quarys in the farmworld. So eweryone would be able to find bases and there would be no things like pernament hiding solutions.

This would make people want to make their base more secure and keep people playing knowing they could lose their base and items anytime.

    Couple questions for this.
    - Why ban all storage mods? What gain is there to leaving items only in vanilla chests.
    - All other dimensions would have weekly-ish resets or some form of stipulation to prevent living there. Packs these days have way too many dimensions to let players live there.
    - Why would you need a farm world?
