    I keep getting this error message sometimes when I lock my computer with modpack running or when I minimize the window. It is spamming console and logs constantly till I unminimize window or return focus to Minecraft. It is very annoying but it isn't causing any harm (yet). I have all my graphic drivers up to date.

    The Error:
    [time] [Client thread/ERROR]: ########## GL ERROR ##########
    [time] [Client thread/ERROR]: @ Post render
    [time] [Client thread/ERROR]: 1286: Invalid framebuffer operation

    Your using optifine? i have seen this before. try this, not 100% sure it will fix it. but its a shot.
    What launcher are you using?
    Locate your "JVM arguments", (if i know the launcher i can tell you where to locate them)
    Add "-Dforge.forceNoStencil=true" without the quotes to the end. Make sure you put a space between the last argument and this one so it doesn't run together.

    I am using Optifine and I have this error on FTB and MYM-launcher too.

    I tried this some time ago, but it caused even more problems and minecraft won't even start. I think that stencil buffer is required for some mods.

    Are you using Optifine? that is one of the Known optifine crashes. If so, i would suggest you replace it with Fastcraft.

    What launcher are you using?

    The issue is:
    • Vanilla;
      • This happens with vanilla on the vanilla launcher without any mods whatsoever
    • Forge;
      • Forge fixed most of the issues, but many still exist.
    • Optifine;
      • Breaks most every rendering in every mod.
      • Almost every mod will not provide support if Optifine is installed

    The issue stems from your graphics card (integrated or dedicated) along with the drivers.

    How to fix:
    • UPGRADE YOUR COMPUTER

    Sadly, this is not me being mean. Literally you need to change to a different video card & driver for this isxsue to go away. We (MyM) can not fix this.

    One way to stop this and to have Minecraft non-minimized and then go to something else. Like: If you are playing Minecraft and want to look up something for Botania, click the window open without minimizing Minecraft. This will stop the problem, you can even pull your logs up and look for yourself.
    This may for everyone, but I know this works for me.
