Horizons, Farm World (Reset) Poll

Hello guys,
this current thread will be regarding the farm world.

Myself and @Cherristelle were randomly flying around the farm world, after reported that no one could find any specific mobs, and we infact, noticed that this was a fact,
after countless minutes of up to 20-30 minutes, we had noticed that there are infact a very shortage of specific mobs,
cows, sheeps, ect.

So we both addressed this issue towards the administrators of the server,
and that's when the idea of a poll was brought towards us by a specific Admin.

I play Horizons myself,
Cherristelle is a moderator based around Horizons,
and we both strongly believe that the farm world needs a reset, but what about you?

Are you sick of all these mobs not spawning, or having these terrible spawn-rates

Are you OK with these mobs not spawning fast, and would prefer the farm world to stay the same?

Benfits of the Farm World reset -

• New map, new mines, new mobs, new biomes, new resources

Negativity of the Farm World reset -

• New map, new mines, new biomes, new everything..

All sub worlds should get reset once a month (beside overworld and tropics).

 

Agreed, but since Horizons isn't such a large server, it doesn't really get that much attention.
It has a very small fanbase,
unfortunately..
Although it being a rather good Modpack.

 

the Fanbase should not be how we judge when a reset should be done. do some rotation on the subworlds

2nd of every month: Farm
9th of every month: Nether
16th of every month: The End
23rd of every month: Deep Dark

 

don't forget the tropics still needs a reset to because it has ben raided what little is left is not worth the time it takes to get there.

 

Tropics is not a sub world. you can claim and build in the tropics

 

Can you still keep the Promised Land portal in the Farmworld though if we reset, or put one at spawn?

 

or make a Promised Land portal yourself.

time to go mining and find the resources. the game is called MINEcraft.

 

No need to push someone around. And actually it is called Horizons based off of MineCraft.

 

He's not pushing your around, he's clearly saying the purpose of the game,
if you need a portal, they can easily be made,
we're not here to make your life easier, you need to do some of the work yourself.

I still think the tropics is a sub would and should be reset so that some of the items you can only get there could be up for grabs for some of the players that are still playing on Horizons

 

You can't just go around calling worlds 'sub worlds'

MrRooo is classing sub worlds as worlds that you cannot claim inside of,

tropics is a claimable area, therefore, no resets because people live there.
If you need resources, you can goto the farmworld, not the tropics.

If you need the tropics mobs, you can search for a part of the world that was untouched

 

I have gone form one side of the would to the other I have yet to see anyone living there and I have not found one of the villages that has ben untouched
the tropics has its own ore spawn and world gen witch is not in the farmwould both of witch were raided mosty by some of the first players on this server.
