Hello, my name is rexarc. i'd like to open a topic of discussion. in regrowth, there are few early-mid game traversal methods other than running around. i'd like to ask if it would be spossible to make a recipe for a horse egg, something that seems to be wanted from people wanting a better way of travelling the wasteland. heres my idea: Runic altar recipe needing atleast,; 1 hay bale, 1 golden carrot, 4 exp orbs, 1 saddle. If you have other ideas for the recipe, please feel free to put them in a comment.
Not that easy. You cant just create an Infusion altar Recipe. That could probably require another mod which can not happen due to FTB providing the modpack for the server.
how do you get other mobs in the pack? I thought mobs spawned on Grass..... So if you turn the biome into a Plains, then lay grass, Horse should spawn.... but i am not sure if this is possible in Regrowth @BookerTheGeek may know this.
@ChetwyndKid not infusion altar. runic altar. from botania. they did it for the coven witch eggs, im pretty sure they can do it for a horse egg. and @Krhymez, yes, but by the point in the game u can change the biome, youve moved beyong the need for a horse.
yes, i figured this, but that also takes away hunger, im not saying everyone should have a horse, i'd just like it to be an option to make.
It is already an option to obtain horses. I mentioned the way above.(if its not diabled) While i can see why your requesting this, it is really not needed since you can already get them to spawn. When riding a horse you still lose hunger.
as i said, by the time u can change the biome, u wont need a horse. i dont think its disbled, but its very endgame to change biomes. still, I would just like to be able to make an egg, ive been trying for a while to get 1 to spawnfor a while now, and its not that easy.
I would need to delve into code to check how horses spawn. As this pack is a wasteland, and their are no natural mob spawn I would be against adding an easy recipe for it. I do know you can get horses and such as @Krhymez stated above. I'll talk to the pack author about it and get his input, and of course the @Administrator have final say.
sorry, havent been on the forrums for a while. as far as i know, the saddle isnt very easy to make. you either get lucky and find it in dungeons, or have to use the crucible furnace to smelt horse armor for a saddle.
