Press the little flag besides the paper sheet and quotes in the tools menu :) Then name it and write what you wanted to spoiler inbetween the ][

thats the opposite of what it'd be like, the cat would be confirmed dead or alive upon looking :p

Ahh but while you didn't look at the answer we didn't know the outcome and thus the cat was both alive and dead. The answer to the question without looking is both while when you looked you got a definitive answer. Without looking however you can't prove that the cat is both dead and alive hence looking changes the outcome from both (50/50) to a definite yes or no (100/0). Heisenberg's uncertainty principle says you can't observe something without changing it. Was the cat possibly alive until you opened the box when a parallel universe jumped into existence and gave you a dead cat? It might not be a theoretical physicist that said it but curiosity killed the cat.

First off the uncertancy principal states that you can't track a subatomic particle's exact location and momentum, only one of the two, and i know the outcome after looking because you are observing the cat which is forcing it into a state of a singlular option, and therefore a difinitive answer

Those are minor technicalities interfering with the truth :) I mentioned parallel universes jumping into existence the second you looked, is that not a possibility? My point regarding the Heisenberg principle when looked at holistically (and yes you are 100% correct that it based on subatomic particles only but still has a partial relevance) is that without looking there is a 50/50 possibility whereas if you have looked this 50/50 is no longer the answer. Rehotov says that the mere act of observing something can on a quantum level interfere with it. The higher the level of observation the greater the chance of interfering is. Our looking at an object no matter the size is observing it. We see only things that are macroscopic but indirectly we also see the microscopic since for something to be realistically visible macroscopically the microscopic underlying it needs to be there or else it wouldn't exist. Is it not possible in the realm of chance that our observation of the cats state pushes us into one dimension or the other and hence we see the definitive answer. Isn't our presence, eyesight or even just the thought of the outcome enough to influence things on a quantum level?[DOUBLEPOST=1438914387][/DOUBLEPOST]Who knew that the question "How do I spoiler something?" could be such a complex topic on here :)
