Valokie had a similar issue with his graves in the erebus. It says i'm too close to a protection when I try to pick up my grave. I worked very hard on the cleaver, bow and pick that were in my inventory and I only wanted to gather beef, leather and wool. Why does the protected area around spawn have to stretch so far? I cannot eat within it, I cannot defend myself because every time I try to strike a mob protectex says i'm too close to a protection. I get not being able to mine or build. But if i can't eat and I can't strike and I can't remove my grave how do you expect me to operate in that dimension? I can't defend myself, I'm slowed down from healing because I can't eat, if I'm jumped by tempests I can't defend myself without protectex disconnecting me (and they seem to spawn in threes alot!) Usually I can handle myself in the aether, but this issue with not being able to fight back within what I see as far too large a radius of spawn and not being able to eat which slows my ability to run is getting annoying. The flying cows and phygs and sheepuffs are very useful sources of food and wool, and tempests debuf you so you can't move very fast when they attack. The solution to the mob issue is for staff to bury a couple magnum torches within the protected zone. But I also CANNOT access my grave and find this quite annoying. Someone please let me get my things back? I'll be grinding/doing housework irl and waiting for you.
with an empty hand harry. edit: aaaand i afk for 10 minutes to make dinner and my grave is gone but some chance cubes/demon lucky block rejects have been opened nearby. also tempests are STILL spawning within range of spawn protection but appearantly you can do chance cubes within protected area. How is that fair?
You can just click on the graves and it will break them, even in protections. I just tested it and it is still working. It looks like the mobs came from the template. I edited the template and removed the mobs there so if there is a reset again the mobs will not come back.
