Done I died and there was no gravestone

I was playing today for a while with a friend. Once I had died of hunger in multiple lives there was no gravestone. i had many of my valuable things in my inventory. I can name them if there is no way to get the gravestone back.

Were you standing on a strange block such as a half slab when you died? And if so have you checked below that block?

If you cannot find one though then I am sorry to say your items are gone the server has a strict no item refund policy

 

Also if you were in a liquid then i have found they can spawn weirdly so look a couple of blocks in all directions.

 

I didnt die in water or on a slab block. So I guess its just the sever screwing me over.
