Done If I start on the advanced island, does my quest progress come with me?

If I want to make an advanced island, does my 'quest' progress transfer to that island as well?

    I started on a basic island and I have worked through some of the quests, now I am wondering, if I make the jump to the 'advanced island' will my progress through the quest log come with me? Will I be able to bring items from my basic island along to my advanced island?

    No, you will have to Restart the Island to change the island type to the Advanced Island, and anytime you restart, it resets everything.

    Thanks for the speedy reply, that is a shame but I suppose it would be worth it once I figure out a good 'plan'.
