Hi, everyone i want to allow the miner's backpack to be used. In fact i've say at a modo the miner's backpack crash the server but it's jst i forgot to place cobble when i've mine with my draconic staff. Thanx for reading PS:Soryy if the sentence doesn't say nothing
If the backpack is banned its banned for a reason. Maybe it freezes the server, crashes it causes duping. So yeah if its banned it should stay banned.
The forestry backpacks, are to my knowledge, banned as they require all too much of the server's resources. It seems they are badly coded, and the self-sorting system is calling all too many updates. A single backpack was causing Node 2 or 3 to go down to 8 tps I believe, a few days ago.
See that's what confuses me. Before and post update I've been carrying 2 miners and 1 diggers backpack on me almost always. After the update I didn't notice they were banned until I tried to move and open my foresters backpack to get something out of it from a farmworld trip (nothing seemed different performance wise for me I mean). And I only noticed then if I tried to shift click it into my hotbar or tried to open it. I manually moved the bags around probably for a bit after they were banned because I had no idea until trying to open that foresters. >_< You could blame Node 1's low tps on me for those few days between, but at night we were cruising at 20 even while I had them. So maybe it's newly made backpacks? *shrugs* The differences between nodes befuddles me day by day really. Quite lost without them though, I really need to look into a replacement.
There is an issue with the way they store stuff. If you are carrying large amounts of certain items it drags the poor server to it's knees. They were banned on other servers and I think it was just an over sight here. If you need the items out please contact a staff member and we can empty them for you.
at the same time AE2 is at around 4-6% The issue here is related to the use of those backpacks. If you have a miners backpack filled to the edge with different ores, it causes such issues. This graph has been generated across a long time, on the server this feels like huge lag spikes and loosing the connection every 2-3 minutes. Unfortunately are we not able to control the use of those backpacks and once one pops up like this we can't tell who's it is. If one of those points would be different we probably wouldn't have gone with a direct ban of the backpack. A request for performance improvements with the backpack has been made, lets hope it gets looked into soon and fixed.
