Hello everyone, I noticed the secondary worlds on the infinity 2 server are in need of a reset, so i thought i'd create a poll to request some world resets based. Maybe you could set up a reset schedule for these worlds, resetting them at the beginning of every month. Thanks, Riccardo
they reset monthly the worlds that get destroyed, the schedule you suggest is already in implementation LOL
the nether i can gaurentee is less devastated than you think, same with the deep dark and farmworld, the main end platform is probably 60% gone due to draconium ore, and the twilight forrest has no bosses left, boom, i haven't even played since the reset and i know how the worlds are in condition, seriously, it will happen again like 2 hours after the worlds are reset anyways, don't even bother trying to get an early one
Now now Chugga it doesn't hurt to make suggestions <3 But as Chugga said we try to reset these monthly. We aren't always perfect and feedback/suggestions help make the policies. I'd like to hear your input on the issue.
Thanks, The end is hardly useful in this state as are a bunch other worlds. Maybe you could try regenerating these worlds more often, perhaps through a custom plugin, on a weekly basis?
the main end platform by no means is required, you should have a form of flight by the time you enter the end (hint hint kill withers)
Endermen fall in the void before you can kill them. There's no draconium. Looks like crap. Seems like reason enough for a reset to me.
you should fly out the world then, cuz the end has these comets that are INSANELY full of draconium, and unless the end is wiped clean, there's no real reason to reset
there are no automated ways to delete files without big consequences if something goes awry that we know of, and it takes alot of time to manually reset it
I suppose there could be a way to do it programmatically. You could use the Multiverse/Bukkit or Forge API, kick everyone out of a world and regenerate it. I'm pretty sure there's a simple way to do that using either of those APIs.
