Hi MYM community, I know a lot of people noticed that 1.3.4 was updated and released. I was hoping to maybe get the servers updated to this or the newest updated version because there are a lot of new items and fixes for mods that are causing issues for me right now. I was helping with a few players that are running into the same issues too. @LucidTheStick here is a reminder for you @_Cilo_ just because I like you hahaa and you've helped me out a lot before. Thanks for the hard work everyone!
We should probably wait until it is officially the recommended build but I agree an update should happen soon after the build is moved from beta to recommended
Yes I believe it is on the recommended list! Think it's possible to get it updated? I'm at a standstill with some mods as they keep crashing the client but are fixed in the new version
@bim63743 I believe it will keep everything as it already is. It will not reset all of the world for the update. Staff can chime in on this but the majority of the time why we don't update right away is because MyM is always working trying to get the server as stable as possible. This however changes every time the server is updated because once they solve one issue, more arise. They also wait till the update is stable and does not have a lot of issues before they also update. It's a double edge sword because they battle having an older version thats a bit more stable versus a new update for the server which could solve some issues but also could create more issues. I know there are certain botania and blood magic issues that were specifically fix that help to not crash the server and that is one of the major reasons why I was wanting the update. I have yet to explore the other major mod fixes that are in the newest version, but I have heard they have helped fix a lot of bugs/crashes. Do we maybe have an idea for when it would be updated @SirWill
