Done internal exception java.io.ioexception an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

I'm not able to connect to the Regrowth server.
It says it's online, and that there are people logged in.
When I tried, I got this error message twice:

Internal exception java.io.ioexception an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Then I tried again, and now it just sits on the log-ing in screen for ages and doesn't do anything.

I tried a computer restart, I've made sure my internet connection is strong. I'm just not sure what to do! (I was playing earlier today, same computer, same internet connection (same bat time, same bat place) and it was working perfectly.)

Help?

 

Do you happen to have a console log that you can share? I don't see any reason on the server that it'd be rejecting you. It can also be your internet connection between you and the server as it is half a world away from you =)

 

There's no error log for when it just sit's there thinking about life...

I'll try and get it to give me the connection forcibly closed message again and see.

You think it could just be random crappy internet? I've played a lot on the server so far, and it hasn't been a problem before...[DOUBLEPOST=1445000034][/DOUBLEPOST]The connection bars are showing as pinging at 3 out of the 5.

(That time I got a 'Timed Out' error)

I'm not sure where the console log is. The FTB launcher only gives me:

I'm not able to play the modpack via the MyM launcher as no pack will launch from there (I couldn't work out why).

 

I had the same issue like two or three days ago. I had played for a while, no issue, then shortly after a server reset I got kicked 3 times within appr. 2 hours. I have no log though, so that's just to let you know that it might be a server side issue, rather than a user side issue.

Does the Launcher save its log somewhere? I guess then I could dig up the report when I am home.

edit: To clarify, in my case I got kicked and was able to rejoin shortly after.

 

If no pack works I suspect it's somewhere between your ISP and the server.

 

Im having trouble similar to this, It keeps forcing my game to shut down. I can connect to the server fine. But whenever I move my mouse or press a button it closes down. I have a log that got uploaded to pastebin.

Edit: I've tried reinstalling and I can play on other servers fine. Just Regrowth keeps shutting down when I try and play.

 

To clarify - I've been playing the pack for a while launching and connecting via the FTB launcher, as when I first started playing I wasn't able to launch anything via the MyM launcher.
(meaning, it's not a launcher issue as far as I can tell)

 

it seems to have fixed itself now. It actually was working yesterday (but I forgot to come on here to give an update). Don't know why it wasn't working - don't know why it suddenly started working again.

For future ref, in case it can help others: I was able to log on to the authentication server to get this forum account set up - but I didn't have any other packs downloaded that I was able to try logging on with.
