I have had numerous players inform me that their islands have been reset when they get a lag spike and get disconnected. They claim they have not died and are playing on normal mode. Several work in groups so I was chocking that up to one of the members picking hardcore on accident then getting killed, however I have had a few players playing on normal solo, no party or island partners get disconnected and when they return their island no longer exists. I do not know if anything can be done about this but wanted to bring it to staff's attention in case anything can be done to prevent this. the most recent player to inform me was xSnowDrop
xSnowDrop was the most recent player to be reset. It was yesterday afternoon that he said he got a disconnect and reset and claims to be on normal mode and be the only player on his island.
I think there was a lag spike? I will ask him next time I see him. There was not a crash or server restart at the time.
