what is it with items sometimes instantly despawning? i just died outside my house ,come back and everythings gone instantly
Yes, that is intended, if you die the despawn timer is very short. If you can make it back in time, very lucky you. The despawn timer on say ore or mob drops on the other hand is longer, but still not vanilla mecahnic timings so I'd be cautious of that too.
ahh right thanks for the clarification was confused cause the mob drops there lasted till i got back but my stuff didnt
