I'm a pretty active member in the infinity 5 server and i was wondering if there was a reduction on ocelot spawn rates. ive been scouring the jungle biomes for a solid 5 hours and havent found a single one. Is there a way to fix this or spawn more for the witchery users?
There is no reduced amount on the ocelot itself. It is an animal that isn't spawning all to much so you will have to look around for it a lot sadly enough. The method that I mostly use is to hang around an area for a while instead of moving all the time as I personally got the feeling that I find the mobs faster with this method. Another tip that can work is to kill all other mobs, animals, bats etc in the area. The chance of spawning new mobs becomes higher in that case.
Another tip is to see if you can get a vanilla spawner, and ask a tier 4 or 5 donator to change it to ocelot for you.
