Hi. Myself I know a few things you just shouldn't do on a server because it makes the server lag or lower the tps. But there might be things I and other don't know that can actually cause lag. So I thought it might be a good idea to make a official topic with a list of contraptions, devices etc. that could cause lag. This can be useful for alot of people that don't know the way they build something can cause lag. ~For example, alot of flowing fluids or alot of entities on the ground is a bad thing right? And the community can build this list along with the staff. And it can be tested if it really causes lag. And if player see this list we can look out for our fellow players so we all keep the server as less laggy as possible. Kind regards, SteefMan
I added some such as Client sided lag to the Wiki, like thoings such as Immersive engineering and Thermal expansion pipes and buildcraft pipes.
