I've been trying to play but noticed there is a significant delay between my actions and a response (ex: pressing a pressure plate and about 3 seconds later the door opens). On other mym mod servers I don't seem to have any trouble but on Forever Stranded when I press tab I am usually hovering around 1/5 bars. Occasionally I will see my connection jump up to a normal level (around 4/5 bars) but then it quickly drops again. Fps is solid, just seems to be some kind of issue with the connection. Any ideas?
I could explain the delay part "I think", most of the time I get this problem is when new chunks are being discovered. Since this is a new server people roaming around the world might cause this. /tps I don't know if this is the issue that's causing it but i'd say its a good start to look at ^^. Just wait a bit for the server to fill up with players to discover the chunks and test it out if it slows down or stops. GL! Enjoy Forever Stranded ;P!
I think tps could play a small part but I don't think that is the root issue. Others seem to have issues every now and then (like some guy just lost a lava bucket which was likely to tps) but I am constantly delayed to the point that it's nearly impossible to even get through a door, even when we're at 20 tps.
May want to check your ping to the server to see if that's what the issue is. Otherwise, I'd run a speedtest to see how your speeds are. -V
