When I start playing the game (on the server and my single player), my FPS averages around 120, however, about 5 minutes later, my FPS tanks to almost 0. There is a mod called scanner that is causing this because it constantly scanning the void for blocks. I have removed it and tested on my single player world and my FPS has not dropped since then. Can someone remove the Scanner mod and/or test this out because this has become a major issue.
The Scanner mod doesn't do anything passively, you'd have to actively place one down and run it. We also do not change the mod pack unless absolutely necessary as this can cause issues with users connecting with different launchers. If you are having FPS issues you could try some client side adjustments such as turning down your view distance or turning off VBOs as this helps some players.
