Done Metal press from immersive engineering

So i cant form the metal press multi-block from immersive engineering due to needing to click the piston with the engineering hammer but that rotates it and doesn't form

 

i had the same problem before too, it worked for me to destroy and replace the piston. hope that works for you too

 

It's a picky bugger, try clicking the piston, which rotates it, one change at a time until the piston rotates back around to pointing down. This should allow it to form properly.

 

Tried both of your suggestions and neither worked.

 

It is finicky, took a few tries to get mine to work. Also, make sure your conveyor belts are both oriented in the same direction, just in case. If that doesn't work, maybe post a screenshot.
