I am trying to make a simple mob spawner to get bones and other drops, but when I go inside the box I've made, its all lit up with natural lighting. I built the spawner out of wooden planks instead of slabs, thinking that it was the problem, but its still lit up. Is this a bug or is there a fix?
Uh, is the roof made of solid blocks? Also, please check if you are carrying a hyper energetic nitor or if there is an arcane lamp nearby.
Maybe a long shot as i don't play this pack is it possible that there is an aura node in there because i know they emit light
try netherracks or cobbles instead woodplanks[DOUBLEPOST=1478257769][/DOUBLEPOST] if i know right, (in other modpacks) aura nodes won't emit over 7 light level and only 5 blocks radius
Well if it's a necro may as well try to answer it while it's alive cus why not This exact thing happened to me in ozone 2 and I fixed it by covering every surface inside the spawner with torches and then breaking them all, (what I think happened was one of the torches I placed while building somehow didn't update to remove the light it was emiting.)
It's alive! It's alive! Now I need to go see if he still even has an island before I can further dig this thing out of its comfortable grave.[DOUBLEPOST=1478269746,1478265264][/DOUBLEPOST]The good news is he does still have an odd lighting problem in his spawner, the bad news is he hasn't played in nearly two months so I think we better stick this one back in the ground. It is also not built quite right, so that being said if you ever come back we'll look at it again!
