Done Mobs not spawning in the nether or end using autospawners?

    As the title saids mobs are not spawning in the nether making nether shards a pain to get. Could someone look into why mobs will not spawn from man made spawners please?
    Thanks.

    -Edit mobs will not spawn from any autospawners in the end or nether as far as I know.

    Try to kill some mobs in a 3x3 chunk radius around your spawner.

    Another trick is to place a Magnum torch, then travel 128 blocks away.
    This will make mobs in that area despawn and unable to spawn. But it will not stop your mob farm or cursed earth to stop spawning mobs.
