    Hi,

actually the MyM launcher seems to be set to 2GB RAM which for many people makes problems loading modpacks as they just close without error message, the logs show that its out of memory and setting it to 4GB fixes it.

Some people run the launcher on laptops where in some cases most memory is only 4gb.
Most modded minecraft launchers have the memory setting at 2gb by default. Believe curse launcher is the only one that has theirs at 4gb - or it changes depending on your hardware.

Don't really see the need for making it a default of 4gb as this is easily changed and the change stays for as long as you have the launcher.

Then we can let them know or even point them towards this post. I also think it's a good opportunity to learn about this function as a minecraft player.

At anytime you can change the amount of ram that the launcher allows the modpacks to use. There is a button that says Options right next to the Launch button at the bottom right. Then you can click on the Java tab at the top and adjust the amount of ram you would like the modpacks to use.
