while playing i was told by someone who seemed reliable that i could autopackage 7 ghast tears into a large amount of dirt, after toiling for a week i scrounged up 7 ghast tears, but alas it did not work, is there something im missing or was this just a lie to begin with?
Compacting usually uses 4 or 9, so the number 7 is rather odd. Check NEI to see if there's a recipe for dirt that uses ghast tears. It's been a long time since I played AG, but I don't think that ghast tears can be used like that to make dirt.
If you're using the MyM client, it will show the recipe. But again, I played on AG here a long time ago, and I don't remember anything about tears making dirt.
