So I got this thing I've been working on, you may have heard about it. Right now, im in the process of raising the bedrock off y=1 to a bit closer to the surface. Theres still a dropoff of about half a dozen blocks in the lowest parts, so I'd like to share my ideas. First what its for, the giant pit was supposed to be a void, but as clearing out the bedrock would take to long, coupled with the reports that would undoubtedly arise as people foolishly throw themselves into the void by "accident", the bedrock needed to be raised to around sea level, but by no means does its purpose change. It needs to still be able to kill people. So here are my ideas. I can either fill it with a volatile liquid, place draconic spawners (player near, they won't be on unless someone is close to them), or have turrets set up to deal with the people who fall in. The turret idea is iffy, as the player might not see them and be killed.. "accidently" (god i hate that word right about now), the volatile liquid would persuade players of sane mind to keep away or else it'd be their fault, much like walking near the lava lakes in the nether. The spawners would give them a chance to try and get out before becoming overwhelmed. I want this pit to be designed to kill those who fall off the island, not those who approach it from the outside, link as to why right here: New years Community Project | MineYourMind Community So what are your thoughts guys and gals and those in between or not even near.
