New 1.8.x or 1.9 packs

    Are there going to be any new minecraft packs or is mym going to be 1.7.9 for ever?

    We currently have 1.7.10 and 1.6.4 packs. Still waiting for large/stable 1.8/1.9 packs and server.

    Given how long it took for 1.7.x packs to become relatively stable, I wouldn't expect any 1.9 modpack any time soon...

    At least there is some hope since FTB is making their last 1.7 pack and after that they stated they will focus on 1.9

    Remember that most of the mods developers are skipping pass 1.8[DOUBLEPOST=1463957570][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Here is some info as to why developers don't really like 1.8

    Currently i am playing around with 1.9 mods. Trying to brainstorm a pack.
    My main concern is 1.10 will be released "Soon", since there is already a snapshot of it.

    For the most part, most of the mods i am using are "stable" but not all of them are complete yet.
    I am think about making an exploration pack, that is light but has a lot of content.
